Abstract:
Presentism (on at least one version of the view) is the thesis that everything that exists presently exists. Presentism is the temporal analogue of actualism, which holds that everything that exists actually exists. I give an argument for this version of presentism that exploits the role ‘presently’ has in making comparisons between what is the case and what was or will be the case. I then defend this argument from objections.
